Welcome to AT1 PERFORMANCE.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the services provided by AT1 PERFORMANCE.
By accessing or continuing to use this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation, making a vehicle reservation or entering into a vehicle hire agreement with AT1 PERFORMANCE, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms contained within your individual rental agreement.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website or booking a vehicle.
Use of This Website
The information contained within this website is provided for general information and for the purpose of allowing customers to view vehicles, request information, submit enquiries and access services offered by AT1 PERFORMANCE.
AT1 PERFORMANCE may update, modify, remove or change website content, vehicle information, specifications, availability, pricing or services from time to time.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information displayed on this website is accurate and current, errors, omissions or temporary inaccuracies may occur.
Vehicle photographs, descriptions, specifications and other information displayed on the website are provided for general guidance and may vary from the actual vehicle supplied.
Vehicle Hire
All vehicle hires are subject to availability, driver eligibility, identification checks, payment requirements, insurance requirements and acceptance of the applicable vehicle rental agreement.
Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quotation through this website does not automatically guarantee or confirm a vehicle reservation.
A booking will only be considered confirmed when AT1 PERFORMANCE has confirmed the reservation and any required booking payment or deposit has been received.
Driver Eligibility
All drivers must satisfy the eligibility requirements applicable to the vehicle they wish to hire.
Before releasing a vehicle, AT1 PERFORMANCE may require appropriate identification and verification documents.
These may include:
- A valid driving licence.
- Proof of identity.
- Proof of residential address.
- Payment card details.
- Driving licence verification information.
- Additional information required for insurance or security purposes.
The person hiring the vehicle is responsible for ensuring that all information and documents provided to AT1 PERFORMANCE are accurate, valid and current.
AT1 PERFORMANCE reserves the right to decline or cancel a vehicle hire where eligibility, identity, payment, insurance or security requirements have not been satisfied.
Additional Drivers
Only drivers who have been approved by AT1 PERFORMANCE and included in the relevant rental agreement may drive the hired vehicle.
Allowing an unauthorised person to drive the vehicle may constitute a breach of the rental agreement and may affect applicable insurance cover.
Bookings and Reservations
Vehicle bookings may be made through our website or through another communication method made available by AT1 PERFORMANCE.
All bookings remain subject to vehicle availability and final confirmation.
Customers must provide accurate information when requesting or confirming a booking.
AT1 PERFORMANCE reserves the right to refuse a reservation where information supplied by the customer is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading or cannot reasonably be verified.
Vehicle Availability
We make reasonable efforts to provide the vehicle reserved by the customer. However, vehicle availability may sometimes be affected by circumstances including mechanical issues, accidents, delayed returns, maintenance, safety concerns or events outside our reasonable control.
Where the exact vehicle booked becomes unavailable, AT1 PERFORMANCE may, where reasonably possible, offer an alternative vehicle.
Any alternative arrangement will be communicated to the customer as soon as reasonably practicable.
Vehicle Images and Specifications
Images of vehicles displayed on this website are intended to provide a representation of the type of vehicle available.
Actual vehicles may differ slightly in colour, specification, model year, equipment, optional extras or appearance.
Unless specifically confirmed as part of the booking, website images should not be treated as a guarantee of a particular specification or optional feature.
Prices and Charges
The price applicable to your vehicle hire will be communicated during the quotation or booking process.
Any compulsory charges applicable to the booking will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

Deposit and Booking Payment
AT1 PERFORMANCE may require a booking deposit or advance payment to secure a vehicle reservation.
The amount of any booking deposit, whether it is refundable or non-refundable, and the date by which the remaining rental balance must be paid will be clearly communicated to you before your booking is confirmed.
A vehicle reservation may remain unconfirmed until the required payment has been successfully received.
Security Deposit
A security deposit may be required before a vehicle is released.
The amount of the security deposit may depend on the vehicle, rental circumstances, driver eligibility and applicable insurance arrangements.
Where applicable, the security deposit may be used towards amounts properly due under the rental agreement, including vehicle damage, missing fuel, additional mileage, penalties, unpaid charges or other authorised rental-related costs.
Any remaining refundable security deposit will be processed in accordance with the applicable rental agreement after the vehicle has been returned and the rental has been completed.
Payment
Customers are responsible for paying all charges associated with their vehicle hire in accordance with the quotation, booking confirmation and rental agreement.
Payments must be made using a payment method accepted by AT1 PERFORMANCE.
AT1 PERFORMANCE may refuse to release a vehicle where required payments, deposits or security requirements have not been completed.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a booking, you should contact AT1 PERFORMANCE as soon as reasonably possible.
Any cancellation charge, refund entitlement or treatment of a booking deposit will depend on the cancellation terms provided to you when your booking was made.
Where different cancellation conditions apply to a particular vehicle, event, promotional booking or special arrangement, those conditions will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
Collection of the Vehicle
The customer must provide all documents, identification and payment information requested by AT1 PERFORMANCE before collecting the vehicle.
Customers should inspect the vehicle at collection and report any existing damage that has not already been recorded.
By accepting the vehicle, the customer confirms that they have had a reasonable opportunity to inspect its condition and raise any concerns before leaving the collection location.
Vehicle Condition
Vehicles should be returned in substantially the same condition in which they were supplied, allowing for reasonable wear associated with proper use.
The customer must take reasonable care of the vehicle during the entire rental period.
Any new damage, defect or warning indication should be reported to AT1 PERFORMANCE as soon as reasonably possible.

- Used outside an authorised geographical area.
- Used in a manner that is likely to cause unreasonable damage to the vehicle.
Performance Vehicles
Certain vehicles offered by AT1 PERFORMANCE may have significantly greater acceleration, power, braking capability or performance characteristics than ordinary passenger vehicles.
Drivers are responsible for operating every vehicle safely and according to road, weather and traffic conditions.
The performance capability of a vehicle must never be treated as permission to exceed applicable road laws or drive in an unsafe manner.
Mileage
A mileage allowance may apply to your vehicle hire.
The applicable mileage allowance and any additional mileage charge will be communicated as part of your booking or rental agreement.
Additional mileage charges may apply where the agreed mileage allowance is exceeded.
Fuel and Electric Vehicle Charging
The fuel or charging policy applicable to your vehicle will be explained when the vehicle is supplied or within the rental agreement.
Where a vehicle is required to be returned with a specified fuel level or battery charge, the customer is responsible for meeting that requirement.
If the vehicle is returned below the required fuel or charging level, an appropriate charge may apply in accordance with the rental agreement.
Customers must use the correct fuel type and, where applicable, appropriate charging equipment for the vehicle.
Smoking and Vehicle Cleanliness
Smoking or vaping may be prohibited inside AT1 PERFORMANCE vehicles.
Vehicles must be returned in a reasonably clean condition.
Where specialist cleaning is reasonably required because of smoking, excessive dirt, staining, odours, spillages or other misuse, an additional cleaning charge may apply in accordance with the rental agreement.
Vehicle Damage
The customer must take reasonable care of the hired vehicle and report any accident, collision, damage or loss to AT1 PERFORMANCE as soon as reasonably possible.
Responsibility for vehicle damage and any amount payable by the customer will be determined in accordance with the rental agreement and applicable insurance arrangements.
Customers must not arrange repairs or modifications to a vehicle without prior authorisation from AT1 PERFORMANCE unless immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety.
Tyres, Wheels and Interior Damage
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care to avoid damage to tyres, alloy wheels, glass, vehicle interiors and other components.
Damage caused through misuse, negligence or failure to take reasonable care may result in charges where permitted under the rental agreement.
Insurance
Insurance arrangements applicable to each rental will be explained during the booking process or within the rental agreement.
Customers must comply with all requirements and restrictions applicable to the insurance provided or required for the vehicle.
Insurance protection may be affected where the vehicle is used in breach of the rental agreement, by an unauthorised driver or for a prohibited purpose.
Insurance Excess
An insurance excess or other financial responsibility may apply if the vehicle is damaged, stolen or involved in an incident.
The applicable excess and any relevant conditions will be communicated before or as part of the vehicle rental agreement.
Accidents
In the event of an accident, the customer must take reasonable steps to protect themselves, passengers, other road users and the vehicle.
The customer must notify AT1 PERFORMANCE as soon as reasonably possible and provide accurate information regarding the incident.
Where appropriate, the customer should obtain details of other parties, witnesses and vehicles involved and preserve relevant photographs or other evidence.
Customers should not admit liability on behalf of AT1 PERFORMANCE.
Breakdowns
If the vehicle develops a mechanical problem or warning indication, the customer should stop using the vehicle where continuing to drive could reasonably cause damage or create a safety risk.
The customer should contact AT1 PERFORMANCE as soon as reasonably possible and follow the instructions provided.
Customers should not authorise repairs without prior approval from AT1 PERFORMANCE except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety.
Vehicle Tracking and Security
Certain AT1 PERFORMANCE vehicles may contain security, tracking, telematics or location technology.
Where such systems are installed, they may be used for legitimate purposes including vehicle security, theft prevention, recovery, mileage verification, vehicle management and investigating suspected misuse.
Further information about the processing of personal information is provided within the AT1 PERFORMANCE Privacy Policy.
Return of the Vehicle
The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location on or before the agreed return date and time unless an extension has been authorised by AT1 PERFORMANCE.
The customer remains responsible for the vehicle until it has been returned in accordance with the rental agreement.
Late Returns
Customers who believe they may be unable to return the vehicle at the agreed time should contact AT1 PERFORMANCE as soon as possible.
An unauthorised late return may result in additional rental charges and other reasonable costs where applicable.
Keeping a vehicle beyond the agreed hire period without authorisation may also affect insurance or other rental arrangements.
Extensions
A rental period cannot automatically be extended simply by keeping the vehicle beyond the agreed return time.
Any extension must be requested and approved by AT1 PERFORMANCE.
Additional payment, documentation or insurance requirements may apply to an approved extension.
Parking Charges, Fines and Penalties
The customer is responsible for parking charges, traffic-related charges, road-user charges and penalties incurred as a result of the use or possession of the vehicle during the rental period, subject to applicable law.
This may include:
- Parking charges.
- Parking penalties.
- Congestion charges.
- Emission-zone charges.
- Tolls.
- Road-user charges.
- Traffic-related penalties.
- Other charges arising from the customer's use of the vehicle.
Where AT1 PERFORMANCE receives a notice relating to the customer's rental period, we may provide appropriate rental and driver information to the relevant authority where permitted or required.
Where AT1 PERFORMANCE is required or entitled to settle a charge relating to the customer's rental, the relevant amount and any administration charge permitted by the rental agreement may be recovered from the customer.
Congestion and Emission Zones
Some locations may operate congestion charging, clean-air, low-emission, ultra-low-emission or other road charging zones.
The customer is responsible for determining whether a charge applies to their journey and for paying any charge for which they are responsible during the rental period.
Road charging schemes, boundaries, eligibility requirements and charges may change from time to time, and customers should check current requirements before travelling.
Tolls
The customer is responsible for tolls and road-user charges incurred while the vehicle is in their possession unless AT1 PERFORMANCE has specifically confirmed otherwise.
Driving Outside the Agreed Area
The vehicle must not be taken outside any geographical area permitted by the rental agreement without prior authorisation from AT1 PERFORMANCE.
Additional insurance, documentation, charges or restrictions may apply to authorised travel outside the normal rental area.
Keys and Vehicle Equipment
The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of vehicle keys, documents, charging cables, accessories and any other equipment supplied with the vehicle.
The reasonable cost of replacing lost or damaged items may be charged where permitted under the rental agreement.
Vehicle Theft
If a vehicle is stolen or suspected to have been stolen, the customer must notify AT1 PERFORMANCE immediately and cooperate with all reasonable steps required to investigate and recover the vehicle.
The customer must also comply with any reporting requirements communicated by AT1 PERFORMANCE or required under the applicable rental or insurance arrangements.
Customer Responsibility
During the rental period, the customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the vehicle and ensuring that it is operated only by authorised drivers and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and the rental agreement.
The customer must take reasonable precautions to secure the vehicle whenever it is left unattended.
